The AjA Project: Photography Programs for San Diego Youth

Broken by Liza
Overcrowding by Nazar

Last month, students from AjA’s Journey class at El Cajon Valley High School participated in a national photo contest called “Through Your Lens”. Students were invited to show the world what they see every day at school: the good parts, the troubling parts, the things they’re proud of and the things they’d like to change. We are thrilled to announce that four of our students, Liza, Nazar, Riva and Amanda, were selected to be shown in a special exhibit on Capitol Hill!

Congratulations to the winners!! Keep up the good work!

You can see all the photos submitted by Journey students in this this photo gallery.
