Over the past spring, in partnership with the Speak City Heights media collaborative, The AjA Project programmed with youth participants through its 2019 Speak City Heights Youth Media curriculum at AjA headquarters.
The program’s final product is a series of blogs and photo essays centered around the City Heights community which were  developed over 20 sessions of AjA Project programming centered around photography and storytelling. For three months, students journalists went through s process of ideation, interviewing, and content creation in order to produce a blog and accompanying photo essay with a unique CIty Heights grounding.

The exhibition will feature a multiple participatory photo art installations throughout the AjA programming space by SCHYM participants. Join us at The AjA Project HQ (4089 Fairmount Ave.) for a night of storytelling, artist talks, and refreshments!
