ABOUT THROUGH MY LENS
AjA’s Through My Lens program uses photography and visual arts as a tool for young people to tell their own story and explore aspects of self, experience and community. Youth participants document and raise awareness around social issues impacting them on an individual and community level, such as bullying, depression, poverty, and climate change. Participants’ images and original artworks are showcased and exhibited in public settings to engage the broader community and prompt critical dialog on issues selected by youth.
